Kuala Lumpur – The Malaysia Chinese Assembly Hall (MCAH) will host the MCAH【20th Anniversary & Chinese Elite Dragon Award Gala Night】 on November 19th, and the “CHINESE ELITE DRAGON AWARD ” will be presented to recognize the contributions of outstanding Chinese individuals in various fields in Malaysia.
Datuk Seri Dr KK Chai, President of the Malaysia Chinese Assembly Hall, pointed out that the awards to be presented on that day include:
- Outstanding Chinese Lifetime Achievement Excellence Award,
- Outstanding Chinese Sports & Culture Hall of Fame Honors Award,
- Outstanding Chinese Entrepreneur Excellence Award,
- Outstanding Chinese Rising Star Award,
- Outstanding Chinese Social Responsibility Leadership Award,
- Outstanding Chinese Exemplar of Filial Gratitude Award, and
- Outstanding Chinese Community Leadership Excellence Award.
MCAH believes that this event is not only to show gratitude to the members and the community for their support to the MCAH, also aims to recognize and encourage individuals within the Malaysian Chinese community who have made outstanding contributions in various fields.
These awards are meant to acknowledge those who have achieved excellence in their respective fields. This recognition is not only significant for the awardees themselves but also encourages more individuals to actively engage in various aspects of society and career pursuits. By recognizing outstanding leaders and community workers, it also helps strengthen the cohesion and unity of the Chinese community, inspiring more people to participate actively in community development and services, thereby promoting social harmony.
In addition, MCAH also aim to encourage individuals and organizations to actively participate in charitable and social welfare activities, which also contributes to advancing the cause of social welfare, improving the living conditions of vulnerable groups, and promoting social equity and justice. Additionally, awards such as the Outstanding Chinese Sports Legend Award, Outstanding Chinese Rising Star Award aim to encourage the younger generation to actively participate in sports, arts, culture, and other fields, nurturing their potential and injecting vitality into society.
Of course, we also emphasize the importance of family values, encouraging people to respect and care for their elders and pass on the filial piety tradition in Chinese culture.
