Datuk Seri Michael Chong emphasized that despite his many years of service, retirement is not on his agenda. He hopes to continue providing assistance within his capabilities to those in need. As societal injustices and inequalities increase over time, he expressed his desire to contribute as much as possible to address these issues.

He expressed gratitude to the Malaysian Chinese Assembly Hall for awarding him the “” Outstanding Chinese Community Leadership Award” . As this recognition is not only a validation of his efforts but, more importantly, serves as encouragement for others with noble aspirations to bravely step forward and assist those in need.
